Is There an Age Limit to Use a Petrol Pump?

Is there a legal age limit for children or young teenagers to fill a vehicle with petrol in Australia?

Advice from fuel companies varied by state between 15 and 16 years of age. Even if not legally enforceable we think it is safer to only allow teenagers from 16 years or older to re-fill your vehicle, and of course after you have instructed them on the risks of fire or explosion and the necessary precautions.
