Empty Boat Ramp Danger

I found a recent newsletter from Maritime Safety Victoria interesting as the heading said, “empty ramp and car park warning”.

This intrigued me to wonder why an empty boat ramp and car park would be a problem, as I thought I would be blessing, compared to many days when “boaties” have to fight for parking and access to the boat ramps around the Victorian coast and bays.

The article went onto explain the reason the boat ramp and associated car parks would be empty is because everyone else have checked the weather and it is too dangerous to go out.
